Alice Khalkad is known for integrating various modalities into a single treatment.

When it comes to skincare on Long Island, House of Skin in Roslyn has quickly made a name for itself, not just for its stunning results, but for its unapologetically high standards. At the center of it all is Alice Khalkad, a licensed medical esthetician and the force behind the brand’s fast-growing reputation for transformation.

“I specialize in corrective skin treatments. I don’t go for the fluff. I’m not a fluffy facialist. I am the person you come to when you have a problem,” Khalkad says. “So I deal with acne, pigmentation, scarring, age management—anything of a corrective nature.”

Khalkad’s highly sought-after approach is clinical, intuitive, and deeply personal. “People come to me when they’ve done it all, been everywhere, tried everything, and nothing is working. People fly in to see me.”

One of the reasons? Her signature Triple Threat Treatment, or TTT as she calls it. “It combines multiple advanced technologies in one single session to deliver rapid and effective results while preserving the skin barrier,” she explains. “For example, I can incorporate my Glow2 Facial with a JetPeel, with a chemical peel, and top it off with the Glacial. It’s all customized—I don’t do just one thing and send you home.”

Knowing exactly how far to push skin—and when to pull back—is a skill she credits to experience and instinct. “Everything I do is rooted in intuition. It’s something you cannot teach,” Khalkad says. “But pairing my intuition with my background in science and education allows me to formulate the right treatment for each client.”

Treatments at House of Skin are designed to work beneath the surface. “Everything I do is focused on deep penetration,” Khalkad says. “I try to help on a cellular level versus just how the skin looks from the surface.”

Even with a clinical lens, Alice never compromises on luxury. House of Skin looks like a beautiful, high-end spa, but the results match those you would get at a dermatologist’s or a plastic surgeon’s office, she says.

Before she even begins a treatment, every client starts with a tailored skincare regimen. “I won’t touch you unless you’re using my regimen for a good two weeks,” she says. “My treatments are aggressive, and I need a client to be well-prepped,” says Khalkad. “I look at your skin as something I have to raise like a child, and I hold your hand every step of the way.”

That full-service, long-term relationship is what sets her practice apart. “If you’re a client of mine, you don’t just come in for a treatment. You get lifelong education,” she says. “I tell you what your skin needs, how much of it, and what to change every few months—that’s what makes or breaks it.”

Product curation is also a critical part of the experience. “I have a pharmaceutical sales background, so ingredients and formulation are everything to me,” she says. “I carry professional-grade lines, including Epicutis, Skinbetter Science, Plated, Face Reality, and CO2 ProLift—everything I use brings real results to the table.”

Since opening House of Skin in Roslyn in December 2024, Khalkad has expanded her space from two treatment rooms to four, and the growth isn’t slowing down. “Everyone who works under this roof is considered master level. They’re reputable in their field.”

For big events, her treatments have become a go-to. “My clients always say, ‘I usually leave my facialist looking crazy, but I leave here glowing,” Khalkad says. “It’s years of training and intuition—I look at you, and your skin speaks to me,” she says.

“Another standout House of Skin Treatment: the Sculpt + Freeze. “It works the 42 muscles in the skin, then we freeze the sculpt with the Glacial. It’s like a mini lift,” says Khalkad. “This is the facial you want before an event.”

In addition to her cutting-edge combo therapy treatments, House of Skin offers chemical treatments, corrective laser treatments, and laser hair removal.

Even those outside of New York can access Khalkad’s expertise through Khalkad's virtual skin coaching program. “You pay a yearly fee and get access to me, product discounts, and 20 percent off if you fly in to see me,” she says. “I treat people who’ve never come to see me in person.”

Ultimately, the mission behind House of Skin is about more than what shows up on the surface. “To be thanked for changing someone’s life—that’s so transformative.” House of Skin goes beyond skin. We help with wellness, with gut-related issues that show up on the face. Your skin tells a story. My job is to listen.”
