Is that bag real? There’s now an app for that! Bag Check, created by Long Island-based Ashley Calley, is the first AI-powered app that authenticates your luxury bag in minutes, using photos of the bag, its interior, and serial tag.

Calley, who has loved designer bags since she was young child, traded her career as a preschool teacher for entrepreneurship when she had an idea to create a trusted tool for savvy shoppers, collectors, and resellers. The app not only authenticates your bag using AI technology in seven easy steps, but also includes content such as Calley’s bag picks, helpful hints to look for when shopping for bags, and vetted retailers to shop from.

Your first bag scan is free and membership charges apply after that, and is available on the App Store.
